Itinerary (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner)

DAY 1: AMMAN Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and assist you through the customs and immigration procedures. Transfer to hotel in Amman dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: UMM QAIS, JERASH (B) After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the mighty Crusaders Castle Of Ajlun (Qalat Rabadh) 45 minutes north of Amman, This is an Islamic Castle built high on a hill overlooking the entire Jordan valley bellow. Departure at noon going through the pine forests and olive groves until you reach the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash. The guide will take you for a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, churches, temples and the vast Roman Forum. After that you will watch the show that features Roman Army warfare techniques, including war machines in action Return to the hotel dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: AMMAN & DESERT CASTLES (B) After breakfast start the day with Amman city tour. We will visit the Amphitheater the Citadel drive to the Desert Castle of Azrak 110 km north east of Amman, far out in the desert. The 8th Century Omayyad Castles that dot Jordan's East with relics of the Caliphates of Damascus representetive fortresses, Pleasure Palaces, watch-postand hunting lodges. You will visit three surprising examples of Islamic art and architecture (Azrak, Amra, Kharaneh Castles). Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: AMMAN - PETRA (B) After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a tour to the south of Amman and visit Madaba and Mount Nebo the highest in the Moabit range which has been a center for pilgrimages since earliest Christian times. Madaba has some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world including the famous 6th century mosaic map of Palestine. After that drive via kings highway via Wadi Al Mujib, a deep and majestic cut through rugged highlands that drains into the Dead Sea. Then continue to Visit Kerak Castle, It is located on the south side of the town of Kerak, 124 km south of Amman. Kerak is the largest late Islamic castle in Jordan. It was initially constructed in the Crusader period and expanded and refortified during the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods. After that continue to Petra, dinner and overnight. DAY 5: PETRA (B) After breakfast, start with a full day tour of the Red Rose City Petra. Upon arrival you will begin an unforgettable ride on horse back and then on foot till you reach the Treasury. The local guide will give a brief history of the City the greatest tourist attraction in the middle East. The Nabateans carved this capital of theirs from the living rock of the surrounding mountains in Petra. Among other monuments for the visitors today are Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal Arch, the Amphitheater and Monastery. At last head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 6:  PETRA – WADI RUM (B) After breakfast, a drive to little Petra (Al-Beidah) 8 km from Petra the ruins of the ancient village date back some 9000 years and, like Jericho constitute one of the oldest archaeological sites in the middle East after that Drive 105 km south to Wadi Rum a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds of pastel-color, the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's deserts. Optional 2 hours 4X4 tour inside the desert then go to the camp site. Dinner and over night under a goat hair tent and a starry sky.

DAY 7: WADI RUM - DEAD SEA - AMMAN (B) After breakfast drive down to the lowest point on Earth the Dead Sea: 400 meters bellow Sea level. Stay by the Dead Sea beach and pool, here you will have a chance to try and swim in the buoyant waters or cover yourselves in mud that is said to restore your health and beauty, Later drive to Amman for dinner and overnight. DAY 8: AMMAN - DEPARTURE (B) After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination. A fond farewell.
