Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)
Day 1 ISTANBUL Arrival at Istanbul’s airport where you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day on your own to relax or get acquainted with this fascinating city.
Day 2 ISTANBUL (B) Start your tour of the city built astride two continents with visits to St. Sophia Church, the 6th century Byzantine Basilica famous for being the largest Christian church of its era, the 17th century Blue Mosque with its six minarets, and, the Byzantine Hippodrome. After lunch visit Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman Sultans between the 15th and 17th centuries, now a world famous museum, the 16th century Imperial Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent and the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered market with more than 4,000 shops and a multitude of alleys.
Day 3 ISTANBUL-ANKARA-CAPPADOCIA (B,D) After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia . After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake , we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.
Day 4 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Oztanik Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets ,Turkish tiles ,onyx and potteries. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 PAMUKKALE (B,D) Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, we continue our drive to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.
Day 6 KUSADASI (B,D) After breakfast, visit the ancient Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and the lime cascade.Thereafter, we continue our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis ‘‘one of the seven wonders of the ancient world ‘’ then continue to Kusadasi for overnight stay.
Day 7 KUSADASI (B,D) Morning drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater and temples. Then, we continue to Virgin Mary’s House. In the afternoon, experıence and participate in an upbeat fashion show showcasıng the unique leather products manufactured ın Turkey. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 8 CANAKKALE-ISTANBUL (B,D) Early departure for Bergama to visit the Acropol with its well preserved remains before continuing to Troy; the site where the legendary Trojan War took place. Drive to Canakkale for an overnight stay.
Day 9 ISTANBUL (B) After breakfast, we will cross the Dardanelles then continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove , Nek , Conk Bair , Lone Pine and 57.th regiment memorial as well as the war museum. Arrival in Istanbul for an overnight stay.
Day 10 ISTANBUL-DEPARTURE (B) After breakfast transfer to the airport towards your next destination.
